Here’s what we loved about them:
💦 The amazing grippy vibram sole for water crossings – sure, other sandals use vibram technology, but these were not at all slippery on wet rocks during deep creek crossings.
🪶 They’re lightweight – lighter than our former sandals, and the thin sole and minimal design makes them perfect for backpacking and travel.
🥾 They hike super well – we weren’t planning to hike far in them but our trip had nonstop creek crossings so we kept them on the entire trail. They were great to hike in and even did well on snow.
⛺️ Easy slip on and off for time at camp – plus they dry fast so you won’t have soggy feet. For warmth add some Injinji toe socks when you’re hanging out or every to hike in for extra comfort.
Is there a break in period? Yes and no… your feet may need time to get used to them, so start on shorter trails if you plan to hike in them. If you feel any rubbing, you can use anti-chafe balm to help, or put socks on. But your feet will get used to them and the barefoot fit.
